3-19-13 Suleski Transportation & NHGRS Ready for York ECLSTS
Dedication
The New Hampshire Garden Railway Society is a real dedicated group of people (or a bunch of crazy nuts).
In the midst of winter storm Ukko, while mother nature is dumping 12 - 18" of snow on the State.
I got the Penske Rental Truck in Seabrook, NH and headed to Auburn (near Manchester, NH) to meet up at Dave Sawyers house to load modules.

Loading Modules and moving the truck & cars for the road plows.
On the way back to Amesbury, MA I was happy to stay behind a NH state plow,
but
there are always the people who are in a hurry (to end up in the ditch)
passing the plows.
Back in Amesbury to meet my family at the Barking Dog to have a dinner out
before leaving them.
Its still snowing but this photo looks brighter.
I'll be up and on the road at 4am tomorrow
Set-up and break down are always a fun time -
John Foley always gives us a Cad drawing of how it should go together, but I
always look at that
as a suggestion - then do my best to change it up.
Working from the corner both ways is always interesting - wondering if we
will meet up when we get
to the final 2 modules.
This year it worked out great with only a 1/2 of movement need to connect the
final modules.
The Crew at the end with the truck all loaded. - Now let's go have dinner out
and celebrate Dave Sawyer's Birthday.
(is that the Mayor of Kesslerville -
the only one without a smile?)
The Return Trip from York was uneventful - Weather was beautiful - no traffic on Sunday Morning.
Larry and I left the Holiday Inn at 5am We saw sunrise around 6:52am as
we were already two hours on the road
and climbing the Pennsylvania
mountains.
Some Nice Before and after photos to show you how nice New England weather is.
